A key component of our effort on Election Day is placing trained voter protection staff (Poll Challenger) at key polling places to protect the right of voters to cast a ballot for the candidate of their choice.

Training sessions will be held virtually via Zoom in October. Invites will be emailed to interested volunteers soon. To attend training, you must be able to work on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at a precinct. You do not have to work the entire day to volunteer.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Ingham County Democratic Party.  There are several ways to get involved with the Democratic Party depending on your interest.

To be a voting member of the Expanded Executive Committee, you need to attend two meetings in a three month period. To volunteer for Ingham Democratic Party activity, you can sign up for different activities during the year whether phone bank, door to door canvassing, or data entry, there is volunteer work year round to prepare us to elect Governor Whitmer and the Democratic slate.   If you have not done so, please visit the web page at www.inghamcountydemocraticparty.net/volunteer-1 to sign up
