A: I think state, local/county and even US Congressional Reps and US Senators would go a long way. If we heard what they needed from them it could be useful to supporting them and also hearing what their priorities are in Congress to relay to the people.

A: 1.) Expand majorities in the state legislature.
2.) With Elissa Slotkin running for US Senate, we must replenish the bench and advance candidates that WILL win.
3.) Push legislation to outlaw bans on books.

A: The idea of what gets people together is hard. My time is precious and harder to share and schedule.

A: I’d do the hour before or after. Probably hour before is best.

A: As a party building exercise I’d set a goal of recruiting candidates for half the elected offices in the County. We need to grow our presence in rural areas and they need to know we care about them. This has been a decades long goal. The newly apportioned legislative districts really beg us to be much more aggressive in fielding candidates in less populated area.

A: 1. Build and maintain a registry of election volunteers, by category of interest, to empower organized unpaid local citizens to do practical things in their neighborhoods in towns throughout the county – between elections, so they will be known influencers between votes.
2. Recruit and hold workshops to train volunteers to apply for or run for party precinct positions, non-partisan local positions, and local and county elected and appointed boards. Builds a trained and organized bench.
3. Work with local businesses owned by Democrats or progressives to collaborate on supporting mutually beneficial progressive issues.

A: It seems that committees should be meeting prior to the monthly meetings so that they can update the broader group at the monthly meetings, but I am not a regular attender so that should be taken into consideration in this comment. I am the 8th person to complete this survey (if I understand the graphics correctly) and I am a minimal attender. I hope to boost my attendance going forward as many of you are doing great work!!!

A: 1. Finding common ground with independents and left center republicans.
2. Draw focus and education to the core middle class actions taken over the past 2 years to improve our core society.
3, Accentuate the actions taken to improve the conditions of our less benefited citizens and the contrast to those who have done so well. Build coalitions to improve life for those at middle class and below. The rest of us are doing pretty good!
