A: 1. Keeping members and other supporters apprised of issue-based rallies (e.g., gun safety rally at the Capitol), and coordinating a presence for causes that align with the party platform as well as those that do not (silent presence at pro-Second Amendment rally and other right wing events).
2. Registration and GOTV drives aimed at college students, as well as recruitment.
3. Engagement of rural voters.

A: Very
A: I’m not interested in attending another monthly meeting—sorry.
A: 1) Solicit voter opinions on their priorities. I believe the Project 83 canvass I participated in in 2017 was the most valuable time I’ve spent. Instead of trying to persuade voters of something, I was soliciting THEIR opinions on what we should be doing, and some of their priorities were surprising to me. For example, even an unemployed person and another with high medical bills, and many others, said their top priority was to fix their roads; I bet others’ similar priorities resulted in Whitmer’s campaign anchor of “Fix the damn roads!” I’d love to help again in a similar campaign.
A: I think that is a good use of time.
A: No
A: I think it is important.
A: I think it should be a priority, sharing food and drink encourages conversation.
A: Continue to make education and funding for education a top priority including per pupil funding and strategies to attract students to a career in education as well as retain our educators with salaries and benefits commensurate with the responsibilities, required training and continuing education.
Raise the minimum wage to an amount more commensurate to what it was when first introduced in 1938, (Taking inflation into account 25 cents an hour is roughly equivalent to $84.20 an hour in 2023!)
Provide more incentives for housing developments that are increased density for only those who are low or no income.
A: Committee work should take place prior to meetings.

A: 1. Recruit Democratic Candidates for ALL elective offices (including out-county)
2. Assist current elected leaders with communication to voters (print and social)
3. Recruit more ICDP members
A: 1. Fundraising: No party HQ, countywide mailers of candidates for 2024, staff, without proper funding.
2. More fun/creative & Engaging events/meetings: Events and monthly meetings planned around growing membership and fundraising (in a fun/engaging and social way): Pints and politics, social outing at the Wharton center for a show, river cruise, going as a group to an MSU football or basketball game etc.
3. Networking/Community relationship building: Work to establish a stronger relationship with key community leaders and build partnerships with organizations in business, the arts, education, and more. These partnerships with key leaders and organizations will allow for more opportunities for events and the expansion of our membership. (By working to reach those outside of our current political/campaign/policy bubble)
